New Zealand Racing Board launches new TAB website

The New Zealand Racing Board has today launched a revamped, new-look TAB website.

New Zealand Racing Board Customer Strategy Manager Neil O’Styke said the website had been given an overhaul to give it a fresh and modern look.

“The changes are aimed at making the website more user-friendly for our customers, providing them with an online experience that is simple and hassle-free,” Mr O’Styke said.

The key attributes of the website have been kept, including the speed and the method with which customers place their bets.

“However, the dominant black background colour on the home page is now white and strong use of colour has been applied throughout the website.”

Other new features include being able to see the next five races and sports events on the home page. Previously, customers had to search for these in the racing or sports pages.

“There is also a consistent page layout for all of the main pages, which provides the benefit of constant access to important options such as logging in, the help files and other key functions and services,” Mr O’Styke said.

“The New Zealand Racing Board is continually improving the functionality of the TAB website but this is the first major overhaul to its look and feel in more than three years,” Mr O’Styke said.

"Further enhancements are underway and we expected they will be introduced to the website in the next six months," he added.
