NZTE’s next Export Breakfast on 5 December puts the spotlight on the global Beachheads Programme: why it’s successful, how it works, and why professional networks can help you in international markets, especially during tough economic times. Hear first-hand about how being part of Beachheads and having access to the right networks has made a difference for Actronic Technologies – a successful New Zealand company who have tapped into the programme in the US, the UK and more recently in China.
Join us on Friday 5 December to hear more from Mark Templeton, CEO of Actronic Technologies and Greg Cross, Chair of the New Zealand Beachheads Advisory Board
Greg Cross has been involved with Beachheads since its inception. He is an experienced entrepreneur and exporter with interests in a range of NZ IP-based companies going global including PowerbyProxi, a wireless company he founded in 2007, Mix and Nature Baby, and is also a director of The Icehouse. Greg will share his insights on why the Beachheads Programme has been such a success, how it has changed and expanded over the past few years, and how the right connections can give companies the critical edge in offshore markets, particularly during tough economic times
Established in Auckland in the late 1970s, Actronic Technologies have grown to be one of New Zealand’s most successful companies, with offices now in Australia, the US, Europe and China and products sold in over 40 countries. Actronic have been part of the Beachheads programme in the US and UK since 2006 and earlier this year became the inaugural participants in the China Beachhead. Actronic CEO Mark Templeton will share their story, their experiences with the Beachheads Programme in very different regions, and how the right connections have helped them become a truly global company.
