kikki.K founder to visit Auckland
The founder of international Swedish stationery retailer kikki.K, Kristina “Kikki” Karlsson, will visit Auckland
next month as part of Swedish Style, a cultural and business event initiated by the Embassy of Sweden.
kikki.K, an Australian based retail concept specialising in “delicious” stationery and Scandinavian design, has three Auckland boutiques located in Queen Street, Newmarket and Shore City, Takapuna, and one boutique in Queensgate, Wellington.
Recently named Australian Young Business Woman of the Year, Karlsson says she’s excited about visiting the city again; the location of her first international boutiques.
“Auckland is a milestone city for us...
the site of our first international stores,” she says.
“We are now opening across the Middle East and looking to
Europe and Asia.”
“I love coming to visit the
stores and our New Zealand based team.”
While in town
she also hopes to meet the local community through speaking
engagements for aspiring entrepreneurs and school
groups.
“I’ve benefited so much by learning from
the experience of others, so I love to be able to give back
in a way that was instrumental to the growth of my business.
Sharing my story is one way I do that.”
Karlsson, who had no prior business experience, opened her first kikki.K boutique in Melbourne less than ten years ago. Today more than 30 kikki.K boutiques can be found across Australia, New Zealand and Dubai.
Kristina is available for
interviews and speaking engagements between October 18 and
25.
Anyone interested in either should contact Lina Fabo on lina@kikki-k.com.au.
