Simes Launches New Commercial Property Magazine
Simes is about to launch its first issue of New Space magazine, which focuses exclusively on new commercial propertyor the Christchurch market.
The magazine features hundreds of millions of dollars worth of select brand-new properties which support local developments and landlords.
Simes Chief Executive Layne Harwood says it’s the only magazine of its kind in Christchurch.
“This is a first for Christchurch. New Space is a quality magazine featuring substantial developments by well-established landlords and developers,” he says.
“It’s more than a property portfolio – it’s a magazine featuring a range of articles about local commercial property trends, people and happenings in the market place. It won’t just look classy, it will also be very informative and is likely to sit around on coffee tables and be re-read for some time to come.”
He says the first issue will contain more than $250-million of commercial property projects at various stages of development, which gives New Space a greater shelf-life.
Layne Harwood says the idea for the magazine came from its Auckland affiliate, Jones Lang LaSalle. We’ve been inspired by what Jones Lang LaSalle has done with its own magazine. It made perfect sense to follow our partner’s lead and produce something similar with a Christchurch focus,” he says.
New Space will be published annually and sent to Simes’ local database and Christchurch businesses. It will be available inChristchurch from September 12.
