The Langham’s Classic Whitebait Experience Now Running

The Langham has embraced the opening of the West Coast whitebait season this week, with a quintessential whitebait
experience and menu.
Available in all of the dining outlets at the hotel, guests and visitors to The Langham will be able to enjoy the simple
pleasure of a fresh West Coast whitebait fritter with lemon wrap and buttered bread. This experience can be further
enhanced with a glass of delicious Sauvignon Blanc or guests can choose from one of the other 60 varieties of wine
available by the glass, in The Langham’s Winery.
The Langham’s signature and award-wining restaurant Partingtons, will also offer fresh West Coast whitebait soufflé,
seared scallops, Juponica greens and avocado mousseline.
Executive Chef, Ofir Yudilevich says that whitebait is a delicacy many New Zealanders enjoy and the opening of the West
Coast whitebait season is eagerly anticipated.
“There is always much excitement about the whitebait season every year, so we are very pleased to have our menu reflect
this and to celebrate the iconic whitebait fritter in true style,” says Ofir Yudilevich.
The West Coast whitebait season runs from 1 September to 14 November.
