TV3 And C4 Top Ratings For July

TVWorks has had a successful ratings boost across its two channels with both TV3 and C4 registering impressive growth in their respective demographics for July.

TV3 won the peak audience share for the month with 24.6% of viewers in its core demographic of 18-49, giving it the highest audience reach of all networks against TV2’s 24.2%, TV One’s 21.8% and Prime’s 5.3%.

C4 reached its highest ratings and share for July year-on-year with a 21.6% increase to 5.6% of viewers in its 15-39 demographic.

Rick Friesen, TVWorks Chief Operating Officer, says the increases are due to the strategic programming across the two networks in light of C4’s move away from purely music television.

“It’s very pleasing to see TV3 and C4 both performing so well. The complementary programming across both channels has clearly appealed to a broad audience, by playing to each channel’s respective strengths.”
