Zeald.com gives its 100th free seminar

Fast-growing web site designcompany Zeald.com’s “give to receive” approach to marketing has reached a milestone with the company holding its 100th free seminar on “Discovering the Secrets of Website Persuasion” in Ashburton on Thursday July 24th.

A record 120 people attended a similar seminar in Christchurchsix weeks ago and the 100th free seminar will be delivered by the company’s South Island Business Development Manager, Dene Robinson.

Zeald.com Chief Executive David Kelly says the company started its free seminar programme in October 2005 and since then nearly 5000 people have attended one of the events.

“They’re so successful that we have at least 27 more planned for the balance of this year.

“Everyone is welcome to attend. There is no pressure to buy and 95% of the content is purely educational. It’s just part of our ‘give to receive’ philosophy of marketing.

“Sure, we do tell people about what we do, but that’s it. Giving is part of our culture. We understand that most of us didn’t learn how to create websites at school, so there is a large information gap out there.

With sales growth of almost 400% in the past three years, Zeald.com pushed its way into a top 20 place in last year’s the Deloitte / Unlimited Fast 50 Awards. The company has built more than 2000 web sites and is one of the country’s leading advisers to small-medium businesses on website and online marketing strategies.
