Starting 11 August, customers on all flights can relive the excitement of the Olympics, with the key highlights on the latest winners and best moments provided weekly during the Games on KrisWorld, Singapore Airlines’ award-winning in-flight entertainment system.

Singapore Airlines’ coverage of the 2008 Summer Olympic Games will extend over its full duration, from its opening ceremony on 8 August until the closing ceremony on 24 August. It will remain available on KrisWorld until 31 August 2008.

The new KrisWorld is the world’s most powerful and advanced in-flight entertainment system. Powered by the latest eX2™ in-flight entertainment system from Panasonic Avionics Corporation, the new KrisWorld offers more than 1000 entertainment options, office productivity applications and even the option to enjoy the personal audio and video content from their iPods or iPhones.

Singapore Airlines is the first in the world to launch the eX2 in-flight entertainment system. Available on all three classes, the new KrisWorld can be found on Singapore Airlines’ new Boeing B777-300ER and Airbus A380 aircraft, as well as the reconfigured all-Business Class Airbus A340-500 aircraft.

Customers travelling on Singapore Airlines’ B747-400 and selected B777 aircraft can also enjoy up to 80 movies, 100 TV programmes, 180 music albums and audio books, audio programming, as well as 84 of the most popular interactive games on the aircrafts’ KrisWorld which is based on Panasonic Avionics Corporation’s S3000 and S3000i systems.
