TelstraClear continues to provide great value

TelstraClear continues to provide great value for residential fixed line telephone services.

The Commerce Commission's March quarterly monitoring report, released today, demonstrates the continued competitiveness of TelstraClear's services.

The report found that 'TelstraClear's plans are the cheapest New Zealand plans in the OECD's low user and higher user baskets'.

* The report refers to TelstraClear's InHome product range, the only triple play of phone line, broadband and digital television available to New Zealand.

TelstraClear Head of Consumer Markets Steve Jackson, says TelstraClear has been providing competitive telecommunications choice to New Zealand for more than ten years.

"These results show the benefits of competition to New Zealand households. Today's findings by the Commerce Commission demonstrates competition in action - and with our unbundling plans, there's a lot more to come from TelstraClear."

TelstraClear also consistently rates as a market leader in the independent Epitiro broadband monitoring, which finds TelstraClear best in terms of speed, including the fastest connection speeds, fastest download speeds, best ping times and shortest email roundtrip time.**

TelstraClear was also recently voted 'Best ISP - Nationwide' at the NetGuide 2008 People's Choice Web Awards.
