Enrolments open for Specialist Export Course
Enrolments open for Specialist Export Course
New Zealand exporters have another opportunity to train in New Zealand for the internationally recognised and accredited Diploma of International Trade.
Following on from the success of the first group, who recently received their Certificate of International Trade, the New Zealand School of Export has now opened enrolments for the third intake of New Zealand’s first tertiary-level course that focuses solely on the unique needs of exporters and international traders.
Export New Zealand CEO Bob Walters is enthusiastic about the benefits.
“New Zealand exporters are being offered the highest level of professional development that has been a proven success in Canada, the US and UK. The Diploma focuses on work-based projects from day one, so exporters improve their export business capability immediately,” he said.
To date the School has attracted exporters from Russell to Dunedin and from start-up businesses to Fonterra. The common denominator is that those enrolled are all professional exporters aiming to pass the Certificate, then Diploma of International Trade to become the first Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) holders in New Zealand – the designation recognised by the World Trade Center Association as the standard of excellence for global business professionals.
The course involves eight two-month study modules delivered by distance learning and supported by a team of professionally qualified and experienced practitioners. The qualifications are internationally recognised and have been accredited by the International Association of Trade Training Organisations (IATTO), the global body that oversees the quality of training courses and providers.
The New Zealand School of Export has the sole rights to provide the Diploma of International Trade in New Zealand.
