RCSA announces International Conference in Christchurch

The RCSA (Recruitment and Consulting Services Association) has announced a comprehensive program of high-profile speakers for its International Conference, the prestigious, must-attend event for leaders in the recruitment industry.

The RCSA will host the Bridging Connections conference in Christchurch, New Zealand over three days from Wednesday 27 – Friday 29 August 2008.

CEO of the RCSA, Ms Julie Mills, said the conference provides an opportunity for recruitment executives, agency owners and industry leaders to build their skills and knowledge across a broad range of areas.

“The conference is the recruitment industry’s premier, senior-level event for personal and professional development. It’s designed to create debate and discussion amongst recruitment leaders, while providing lots of opportunities for high-level networking and knowledge sharing,” Ms Mills said.

Keynote speakers at the conference come from diverse specialist fields including politics, business, exploration, self-development and recruitment. Speakers include mountaineer Peter Hillary, former NSW Premier The Hon Bob Carr, New Zealand’s Leader of the Opposition, John Key and joint CEO and Co-Founder of SEEK, Paul Bassat.

“These speakers not only represent a wide range of expertise, but encourage delegates to expand their thinking beyond the business realm. It’s about developing a holistic approach to modern business by focusing not only on business and technology, but also on the planet and self,” said Ms Mills.

The RCSA is encouraging Members to take advantage of early bird specials for the conference, which will be held at the Christchurch Town Hall for Performing Arts.
