Hamilton printing companies “in the medals” over ANZAC weekend

Hamilton’s Admark Visual Imaging and The Green Frog Sign Company received a haul of medals over ANZAC weekend at the annual NZ Sign & Display Awards.

In total, one gold, two silver and three bronze medals were awarded. The Sign & Display Awards provide recognition of the craftsmanship, technology and material that combine to create really great printing, and further allow businesses to benchmark themselves against the rest of the industry. Clearly, from these results, the ingredients required for excellence in printing are alive and well in Hamilton!

Laurie Pilling, Admark’s Managing Director says, “while winning awards is not in our minds when we are printing work for our clients, it is extremely gratifying to receive them as it demonstrates to our staff and clients that we really are doing a great job. Winning gold for the Menin Gate graphic was particularly meaningful to me as an ex-army man, and to win it on ANZAC weekend was even more special as the graphic was designed to commemorate the amazing recognition of ANZAC soldiers that the citizens of Ypres, Belgium make each evening.
