Slingshot offers customers a terabyte of free data
Auckland, Tuesday 22 April – Slingshot, part of CallPlus New Zealand’s largest 100% kiwi owned full service telecommunications company launched a unique referral campaign for its existing broadband customers. The concept is simple, refer five friends to Slingshot and get a free terabyte (1024GB) of data valued at close $1000.
Mark Callander, General Manager for Slingshot says “the terabyte campaign came out of a forum topic by one of our customers asking if Slingshot had any referral programmes running. The marketing team took this as an opportunity to engage with our customers to develop some ideas that our customers really value. After a bit of discussion, the terabyte concept was born”.
“Demand is expected to be very high and our customers have even started blogging about it. While the concept is simple, it is what broadband customers have been requesting for a long time. A terabyte of data seems too good to be true when most of our competitors are only offer 200Mb or 500Mb on their entry level plans” says Callander.
“Listening to our customers is paramount, so it makes sense to take it one step further and involve them directly like this. The terabyte campaign has been fun to develop and working closely with our customers has been a rewarding experience. The team are already looking forward to the next idea that sprouts up” Callander concludes.
Anyone
with a Slingshot broadband connection can take this offer.
