Nielsen Online Appoints Megan Clarken As Managing Director, Pacific
Sydney, 3 March 2008 – Nielsen Online, a service of The Nielsen Company, today announced the appointment of Megan Clarken to Managing Director, Pacific, effective 24 March.
A four-year veteran of Nielsen, Ms Clarken will be based in Nielsen Online’s regional headquarters in Sydney, Australia and will lead the company’s commercial business in Australia and New Zealand. As part of Nielsen Online’s Asia-Pacific management team, she will report to Jonathan Carson, President, International, Nielsen Online.

Ms Clarken brings more than 20 years of technology, product development and marketing experience to her role. New Zealand-born, she joined Nielsen Online (Nielsen//NetRatings at the time) in 2004 as Vice President, Web Analytics based in Sydney, and managed the company’s profitable web analytics product portfolio. She relocated to New York in 2005 as Vice President, Web Analytics and Program Management, responsible for the strategic direction of the company’s overall product development and roadmap. Her previous positions include senior roles with News Ltd, Akamai, Peakhour and ninemsn.
