Celebrate Valentine’s Day With Allan Scott Bubbly
What better way to celebrate Valentine’s Day than with a bottle of bubbly. New Zealand’s leading family winemaker Allan Scott has produced a Blanc de Blancs gift box especially for the big day and thrown in some cute heart-shaped Devonport chocolates to create a gorgeous Valentine’s Day gift.
Allan Scott Blanc de Blancs is a Méthode Traditionelle made from 100% chardonnay grapes home-grown on the family vineyard in Marlborough. Fruit is picked while still firm to ensure a high natural acidity, giving the champagne-style wine its finesse and unique favour.
Allan created the bubbly for his wife Cathy, who happens to be very fond of champagne. “It was a simple case of economics,” explains Allan. “Create something equally as good, or go broke! Luckily for me, Cathy approved.”
Best served chilled, Allan Scott’s Blanc de Blancs suits almost every occasion, whether used for a celebration, as an aperitif to a meal, or simply enjoyed with friends or that special someone.
Allan Scott Marlborough Blanc de Blancs NV will be available at all Glengarry stores during February. At $22.50 a bottle, including free gift box and Devonport chocolates, it’s sure to win hearts.
