“The Glenfiddich Untouchables” comes to NZ!
Calling all bartenders!
“The Glenfiddich Untouchables” comes to NZ!
This year, for the first time ever, one of Australia’s most respected bartender competitions, “The Glenfiddich Untouchables” is taking place in New Zealand.
Bartenders enter The Glenfiddich Untouchables competition by creating a signature serve using any of the Glenfiddich range and promoting their creation on their bar cocktail list or menu. Entries will then be judged based on set criteria including originality, presentation and method.
The Glenfiddich Untouchables has a unique judging style where all finalists form part of the judging panel to rate their peers. This adds a great deal of credibility and integrity to the competition.
Bartenders who think
they’ve got what it takes to create a winning Glenfiddich
signature serve can visit www.glenfiddichbartenders.co.nz to
enter The Glenfiddich Untouchables.
Entries are open from
April 1st – June 30th 2008.
Finalists will be flown to Auckland for the final competition and the exclusive Untouchables VIP party which will take place during the Auckland Bar Show on the 5th and 6th of August.
The Glenfiddich Untouchables competition is in its third year in Australia and attracts the country’s best, most talented barman from some of the hottest bars and clubs including last year’s winners from Lychee Lounge in Queensland, Foveaux in Sydney and the Ginger Cocktail Bar in Melbourne.
The overall winner will receive a trip for two to the Sydney Bar Show in September including flights, accommodation and spending money as well as a bottle of Glenfiddich 30 Year-Old. All finalists will receive Glenfiddich prizes.
