Thirteen Is a Lucky Number for Lotto Second Division Winners Who Score $21,372 at the Weekend


Thirteen might traditionally be an unlucky number for some, but it turned out to be lucky for the 13 Lotto Second Division players, who won $21,372 in this weekend's Lotto draw, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive, Todd McLeay.

The winning tickets were sold in Whangaparoa, Auckland, Waiheke Island, Waitakere, Manukau, Rotorua, Tokoroa (2), Napier, Motueka, Nelson (2) and Balclutha.

In addition to winning Lotto Second Division, a player who bought their ticket at Balclutha New World also won a Powerball Second Division prize of $33,782 taking their total winnings to $55,154.

The winning Lotto Second Division tickets were purchased at the following stores:

"Anyone who bought their ticket from any of these winning stores should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately at any NZ Lotteries' outlet," Mr McLeay says.
