The McEwan Group and Rarotongan based company, Tepaki Group today unveiled a stunning life-sized display suite in Auckland which has been designed to give potential investors a sneak preview into the upcoming Hilton Rarotonga Resort & Spa. Scheduled to open in 2009, it will become one of the most deluxe resort offerings in Rarotonga ,comprising 160 guest rooms and 50 apartments.
The Hilton-managed resort offers a number of investment opportunities ranging from one to three bedrooms units, all of which are fully furnished. With a strong Rarotongan community living in New Zealand, and the fact that approximately 50% of visitors to Rarotonga are from New Zealand, the new resort is expected to be a popular investment choice and holiday accommodation facility for Kiwis.
The display unit is a replica of one of the 48 sq m hotel suites, built and furnished to Hilton’s exacting standards. Each unit features air-conditioning, in-room entertainment and a luxurious bathroom designed to take in the view of the lagoon.
The Hilton Rarotonga Resort & Spa will be located in the south of the island, along an immaculate white sand beach and near to a lagoon popular among tourists for boating and snorkelling. On property, it will have fresh water pools and will feature an inland salt water lagoon for coral free swimming. The hotel will be surrounded by 25 acres of private park grounds and natural streams, with breath-taking vistas of the South Pacific Ocean as well as picturesque farmlands and pawpaw plantations. The resort will have extensive conference facilities, performance stages and a tourism and sales office.
To complement the Hilton experience, there will be a variety of all-day dining and specialty restaurants, bars and lounges. The resort's spa will combine international and South Pacific island treatments and design accents.
