Cruises Sailing Out the Door
Cruises Sailing Out the Door
Cruises are sailing out the door at Cruises Direct.
So much so that Cruises Direct has elevated itself to Partnership Elite Status with P&O Cruises and Princess Cruises Australia, thanks to its huge sales effort during 2007. It is one of only two agencies to reach this status in New Zealand.
Led by Mark Smith, a Qualified Master Cruise Consultant with more than 12 years experience in the cruise industry, Cruises Direct has only been operating for three years. During this time Cruises Direct has become a successful division of GO Holidays – now capped with this achievement.
“It’s all about providing our customers with a wide choice of cruising holidays and then assisting them to match their needs to ensure a fantastic cruising experience,” says Mark. “It’s made very easy for customers who can go on line to www.cruisesdirect.co.nz and search worldwide for cruises, and there are literally hundreds to choose from.”
The website is backed with a team of cruise specialists, led by Mark who has worked with some of the best cruise companies in the world - Norwegian Cruise Line, Royal Caribbean, Yachts of Seabourn, Silversea Cruises and Crystal Cruises. His final five years at sea were aboard the “Aurora”, flagship of P&O Cruises UK fleet, before he decided to settle in New Zealandand make Aucklandhis home.
“Some of our most popular cruises are within easy reach of New Zealandsuch as the Pacific Sun, cruising from Aucklandto Australiaand the South Pacific, or the new Pacific Dawn and Sun Princess which will be based out of Sydney. But we are also able to provide the added advantage of the more exotic, off-the-beaten-track cruise destinations such as: the Mediterranean, Alaska, Scandinaviaand South America,” Mark says.
