Pisa Range Wins Singapore Gold
For the fourth consecutive year Central Otago fine wine producer, Pisa Range Estate has been recognised for its pinot noir at Wine Style Asia – a major international wine show.
The 2006 Pisa Range Estate “Black Poplar Block” Pinot Noir has been awarded a Gold Medal at 2007 Wine Style Asia Awards (4th Edition) held in Singapore this week. “The judging criteria focus on selecting fine wines from around the world to match fine foods and this is what we aim
for “said Jenny Hawker, owner and Marketing Manager. Judges are made up of a panel of international judges, wine sommeliers from across Asia, key wine purchasers, and wine educators.
Bob Campbell MW selected this wine along with Felton Road as the best of 2006 Central Otago vintage at a Sneak Preview held in August. “With these encouraging endorsements at this early stage we are very excited about how this wine will evolve” said Jenny Hawker.
