Club Med’s popular Japanese ski resort Sahoro is being relaunched in December as a Four Trident property with full renovations to the rooms, a redesigned resort centre and the addition of a spa.  

Club Med Sahoro is a place of refinement in full Japanese style offering amazing snow quality and almost private slopes, shared only with one other hotel.  “Guests can put on their skiis and take off down the slopes from right outside the front door of the resort, which is amazing,” says Kaarin Gaukrodger, Club Med MarketingManager New Zealand.

The microclimate that reigns over the islandof Hokkaido, which has less rainfall and is cooler than the rest of Japan, ensures optimal snow cover for an intense skiing experience. 

“And after all the skiing, revival is guaranteed, with the choice between Ofuro, traditional Japanese hot baths, and for the more adventurous, Canadian outdoor baths.  Indoors you will find a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and saunas.  For shopaholics the city of Shintokuis just 15kms away,” Kaarin says.
