Kumuka adds more exciting itineraries to its Family Adventures

Auckland, 24 September, 2007 – Due to the popular demand for Kumuka Worldwide’s current Family Adventures, Kumuka is pleased to announce the release of several more exciting destinations including South Africa, Turkey and Morocco.

Kumuka Family Adventures specifically cater to the needs of youngsters by minimising long journeys and incorporating child friendly activities. Adults also enjoy the varied ways of experiencing the country and love the chance to discover new and wonderful activities with their children.

The 12 day ‘Caves, Dervishes and Gullets’ tour priced at $2,450 per adult and $1,730 per child, explores Turkey, the land of crusaders, foods flavoured with exotic spices, underground cities and the beautiful Aegean coastline. Highlights include Istanbul, Bosphorus Boat Trip, Cappadocia, a three night cruise on a traditional gullet with time to relax at the Blue Lagoon Beach.

Two new itineraries have also been introduced in Morocco. The new 12 day ‘Souks, Berbers and Beaches’ priced at $1,655 per adult and $1,330 per child, offers families the variety of Morocco in a nutshell. Spend a day with a Berber family and take a mule trek to see the famous dinosaur tracks. The ‘Kasbahs, Camels and Deserts’ priced at $1,640 per adult and $1,315 per child is a nine day itinerary and includes highlights such as a Sahara Desert Camel Trek and overnight stay at a Desert Camp and a visit to ‘The Gladiator’ film set.

The popularity of Kumuka’s African destinations has led to the introduction of five new Family Adventures in South Africa. The new 7 day ‘Elephants, Ostriches and Caves’ priced at $1,935 per adult and $1,390 per child discovers the Garden Route, with its tropical forests and pristine beaches. The tour includes many wildlife opportunities including the whale sightings at Hermanus, Knysna Elephant Park, Featherbed Nature Reserve and visits an Ostrich ranch.
