Rockwell Automation makes Guardmaster safety
products available through regional distributors
Auckland, 5 September 2007 – Rockwell Automation has extended the distribution of its Guardmaster range of safety products to each of its seven regional distributors. Previously Guardmaster products were distributed solely through Ellisco, which will continue to be the distributor for Auckland city, east and south.
The other distributors and regions are: Automation Distributors for North Shore, West Auckland and Northland; Astron Technical Products for Waikato; iTAC Distributors for Hawkes Bay, Poverty Bay, Bay of Plenty and Taupo; Industrial Automation for Wellington, Manawatu, Taranaki, Wairarapa and King Country; Mantis Systems for Otago and Southland; and Hamer for Canterbury, Westland, Nelson and Marlborough.
Rockwell Automation product marketing manager Kevin Applegarth says Ellisco has supplied the highest standard of service to the industry over its 20 years as Guardmaster distributor.
Mr Applegarth said Rockwell Automation started moving to a distributor model in New Zealand in 2005 and now has complete country wide coverage with local partner companies that sell the entire Rockwell Automation range of products, services and solutions.
“The main benefits of making Guardmaster products available through any authorised Rockwell Automation distributor will be increased local presence, local pre-sales assistance, local stock availability and a better customer experience.”
Mr Applegarth said safety is a core component of today’s business environment. “By integrating safety with your plant-wide control architecture you can decrease costs, improve productivity and maximise safety. Your local Rockwell Automation distributor can help you find the best solution for your needs.”
