NZ SMEs can succeed says world renowned
business guru
A recent study this year by
Statistics New Zealand revealed more than half of New
Zealand’s small businesses fail within the first three
years.
Mike Doughty, managing director of The Knowledge Gym, says this is a concern but he’s got good news for SMEs (small-medium enterprises): “There’s light at the end of the tunnel,” he says.
In September The Knowledge Gym is bringing business guru and best-selling author and chairman of E-Myth Worldwide, Michael Gerber to New Zealand.
The Knowledge Gym regularly invites some of the world’s foremost business achievers to run coaching sessions for New Zealand business operators, something Mr Doughty says is important for both the individual operators and the economy as a whole.
Michael Gerber is most famous for his best-selling book The E-Myth: Why Most Small Businesses Don't Work and What to Do About It; and has inspired literally hundreds of thousands of small business owners around the globe with his E-Myth message (Entrepreneurial Myth).
Mr Doughty says SMEs often fail to think of the simple things in business, such as “do I know how to put a marketing plan together to attract new business?”
Doughty says Michael Gerber will share his knowledge and expertise on how business owners can create businesses that work. His knowledge and expertise comes from having worked with over 60,000 small businesses in 148 countries. The strategies and techniques he will share with attendees at the September seminars will help them build their businesses and succeed with amazing results.
“Many small business owners realise that, just as they invested time and energy in learning their trade or profession, they need to acquire business development skills and learn how to effectively manage and grow their business.”
Michael Gerber’s seminars:

Auckland:19 September -
