Simple way to reduce carbon footprint

Meridian Energy offers simple way to reduce carbon footprint

Electricity consumers who want to reduce their carbon footprint can do so easily by switching to Meridian Energy, says the company’s chief executive Keith Turner.

“Meridian Energy is the only company in New Zealand offering independently certified carbon-neutral electricity. Businesses and households who want to reduce their carbon footprint resulting from the electricity they use can do so very simply by switching to us,” says Dr Turner.

Dr Turner says awareness of climate change is growing rapidly and environmentally conscious power consumers can switch to Meridian Energy as one of the easiest and most practicable steps towards reducing their carbon footprint.
