Armstrong Motor Group Celebrates Opening Of Luxury Car Showrooms
The Armstrong Motor Group is celebrating five years of strong growth with the opening of its new purpose-built Mercedes-Benz Autohaus and Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge showroom in Christchurch this Friday (27 July).
The complex, which is New Zealand’s largest premium car showroom of its kind, has been developed by Ngai Tahu Property on a 6864sqm site fronting the new Blenheim Road deviation at the western end of Moorhouse Ave.
“The Mercedes-Benz Autohaus and Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge showroom, together with our new purpose-built dealership in Dunedin and other acquisitions, show our faith and commitment to these outstanding brands,” says the man behind Armstrong Motor Group, Rick Armstrong.
The Mercedes-Benz Autohaus has taken two years of planning and adheres to Mercedes Benz’s world-wide standard that demonstrates the high level of service being demanded by clients in the new car market.
It will provide significant benefits to customers including larger and more comfortable facilities, plenty of parking and less cluttered sales, service and business areas.
“The facilities are state-of-the-art and incorporate features such as defined new car delivery areas, ensuring all new cars are delivered in top condition in warm, dry and pleasant surroundings.”
The separate Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge showroom has been designed to cater for the needs of customers and reflects the growing presence of these prestigious brands in the New Zealand market.
The new showrooms also include two cafes as well as modern parts and services facilities with 14 service bays.
“The new site is very high profile and we have taken advantage of that in the design and placement of the showrooms. We have also tried to make visiting the showrooms a pleasant and enjoyable experience, whether people are viewing a new vehicle or are dropping off their car for a service.”
The site provides easy access to the new dealership via a dedicated road as well as extensive on-site parking.
Armstrong Prestige is the authorised Mercedes-Benz, Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealer in Christchurch. It previously had two sites in Riccarton Road and operations from these sites have been transferred to the new showrooms.
The opening of the new showrooms is part of the Armstrong Motor Group’s plan to cement Armstrong Prestige as the number one luxury car dealer in the South Island.
The opening of the new showrooms will increase the capacity of Armstrong Prestige by 70 percent.
