Southern Success – the Spur for Harveys Owners to Take on City Office
The new owners of Harveys Royal Oak are looking to repeat their successful Southern formula closer to the Auckland CBD.
Colin Varney and Darren Brady were voted Harveys Group ‘Managers of the Year’ in 2006, for developing an outstanding team culture across their three South Auckland offices. And they can’t wait to replicate that at Royal Oak.
According to Colin, the success of any business depends on having “good people and providing them the opportunity to develop their skills. If they succeed and do well, so will the business.”
He believes Royal Oak is well served in that area with a high achieving sales manager in Cherry Kilgour and a motivated sales team.
Colin says, “Cherry was one of the outstanding achievers at the recent 2007 Harveys Annual Awards, being a finalist in five individual categories. We are thrilled to have someone with her drive and vision.”
“We’re very excited about growing this office in such a thriving, sought after area that provides a base for us to capture a significant market share in a developing part of the city,” he says.
Harveys Director Ross Hunter says, “Colin and Darren have proven their abilities as talented sales managers and business owners time and again. I have every confidence they will continue their successful formula with Harveys Royal Oak.”
