Sealegs Appoints Hong Kong Distributor With A 7 Boat Initial Order.
Auckland, 10 July 2007: Sealegs has appointed Asia Yachting as the Sealegs distributor in Hong Kong following initial orders of seven amphibious boats. Asia Yachting is a focused marine distributor based in Hong Kong with a shipyard in southern China.
The appointment of Asia Yachting brings to seven the number of international distributors and agents appointed by Sealegs and the third in South East Asia as it continues its expansion into new international markets.
According to Managing Director Mr. Olivier Besson, "Asia Yachting has a number of customers who are already interested in Sealegs amphibious boats. They are ideal for exploring the many islands and bays around Hong Kong".
The first Sealegs boat going to Hong Kong will be displayed at the Marina Cove boat show in Hong Kong from 30 November to 02 December.
Sealegs CEO Mr David McKee Wright says, “This appointment continues to demonstrate the global potential of Sealegs and we are delighted to be able to partner with such an established distributor into what is clearly a growth market.”
