Te Atatu Takes The Big Double At 2007 Harveys Real Estate Awards
The Te Atatu branch was the big talking point among the 60-strong Harveys Real Estate network at the recent 2007 National Awards.

award from Harveys Director Ross Barraclough.
As well as winning the prestigious top 'Office of the Year' award for the first time, Te Atatu also produced the top 'Salesperson of the Year' in Paul Vujnovich.
It was the first time in seven years that the 'Office of the Year' award was won by an Auckland office. Last year it went to Gisborne and for the previous five years it was taken by Taupo.
Harveys Te Atatu co-owner Sandy Lowe, who two years ago won the 'Manager of the Year'' award, was overwhelmed when her team of 14 salespeople tipped over several larger rivals for the supreme award.
"It was a great surprise and a real encouragement to us all," she says. "Every year the goal is to continue improving so this has certainly been a humbling but very gratifying experience."
Sandy says a lot of hard work has been put into the progression of this office. "All of our team have grown a lot during the year - from lifting their presentation skills to raising their commitment to each sale."
Adding to their achievement was the 2006 'Rookie of the Year' Paul Vujnovich, who was this year crowned 'Salesperson of the Year'. Paul says he is "extremely honoured to have won this award, especially following last year's Rookie award - it's been a major confidence boost for me and my future career in real estate."
Harveys Director Ross Barraclough says, "This top standard, presented by the Te Atatu office and Paul Vujnovich, has been based around a great culture and a commitment to excellence in everything they do - by everyone in the office."
The criteria for 'Top Office' were changed this year, putting less emphasis on gross income over the twelve months. Key qualifications now include gross income growth achieved by an office, income per salesperson, vendor contributions, exclusive listings, auctions listed, office presentation and a recruitment plan.
Harveys Taupo still took a large share of the honours. They won the 'Property Management Team of the Year' and 'Harveys Business Owners of the Year' awards, while salesperson Janet Hadfield was the top exclusive lister and first for auction listings.
Other Individual winners included Harveys Warkworth's auctioneer Ben Kloppers, who won 'Auctioneer of the Year' for the second time in a row, Barbara McMullen of Harveys Tokoroa for 'Rookie of the Year' and Diane Raynes of Harveys Mt Roskill for 'Administrator of the Year'.
