BRANZ Online with Building Sustainability
13 June 2007
BRANZ has built up an impressive amount of knowledge on the popular subject of sustainability, from 15 years of scientific research into sustainable building practice. Now the fruits of BRANZ’sustainability science heritage is being made available online.
With the launch of www.LEVEL.org.nz BRANZ is making a comprehensive “authority on sustainable building” available to building and construction professionals. LEVEL is a technical resource, designed to provide practical information on how to construct sustainable buildings. Anyone attending the 2007 BUILD New Zealand Expo in Auckland, 24-26 June will be able to see a pre-view of the LEVEL website at the BRANZ stand.
This information complements a wide range of educational resources developed and made available through BRANZ to the industry and the general public.
BRANZ has deliberately moved to make resources available on-line and a complete list of publications is available from the BRANZ Bookshop, found on www.BRANZ.co.nz.
Printed material still has a major place within knowledge transfer to the industry, and BRANZ continues to publish monthly bulletins, guidelines and their flagship magazine BUILD with a readership of approximately 17,500.
For the general public, copies of the classic Maintaining Your Home are also available from BRANZ or through leading bookstores.
