Export NZ Welcomes International Business Forum

Export New Zealand welcomes International Business Forum

Export New Zealand joins New Zealand's exporters and decision-makers on the International Business Forum as it launches today.

This new body aims to promote the country's international business growth, working closely the government to set priorities. It is modelled on a forum held in Washington DC last year. That meeting was designed to improve relations with the United States.

"Export New Zealand is delighted to be part of the International Business Forum to develop the vision for New Zealand's integration into global markets and so assist businesses to grow internationally," said Bob Walters, CEO of Export New Zealand.

Members of the forum are chairmen or chief executives of large exporters, manufacturers or services covering New Zealand's top export industries including dairy, software and kiwifruit.

Jon Mayson, Export New Zealand's national president, will represent the organisation on the forum.
