Appointment Adds to Harcourts Focus on Auckland

NEWS RELEASE

Appointment Adds Value to Harcourts Focus on Key Auckland Market

For Release: 12 June 2007

Over a decade of experience helping businesses to achieve and maintain a strong competitive edge through core planning and strategies is the experience behind the recent appointment of Angela Winiata as Business Development Manager with Harcourts’ Auckland based corporate team.

With Harcourts’ continued focus on growth in the key Auckland market, Ms Winiata is working with the Business Owners of 26 Harcourts offices in mainly the North Shore and Western parts of Auckland.

Her most recent role has been as an independent Business Consultant in predominantly the real estate profession which included auditing existing business structures to develop and implement new systems for sustained profitability and growth. The scope of her work has encompassed everything from working with low performing businesses to analyse the challenges in order to advance, through to very high performing businesses looking to build on their competitive edge.

Having worked closely with a number of Harcourts’ over 180 businesses nationwide Ms Winiata is very familiar with the culture which she said played an important part in moving into her new role. “What I’m essentially doing is adding value to the businesses I work with. The Harcourts philosophy and values with the ‘people first’ approach is very much in line with my own approach.”

With a strong commitment to increasing professionalism, over the last 11 years, Ms Winiata has also lectured at Massey University on the ‘Advanced Management’ paper offered as part of the AREINZ industry qualification.

Angela will have a significant impact on our growth in Auckland.”

Ms Winiata’s predecessor, Grant Parker has moved into Business Partnership with Harcourts Fiji Business Owner, Shivas Singh.
