Hyundai sponsors Fieldays
Hyundai is the official vehicle supplier and
a major sponsor at this year’s National Fieldays at
Mystery Creek near Hamilton, next week.
Farmers and others will be able to test the remarkable Hyundai 4WDs at a special test area on the site, which hosts New Zealand’s biggest rural event. Fieldays attracts huge numbers every year to see the latest in rural technology and practices. It is also a booming event for vehicle manufacturers, and Hyundai will be there with its full sales force again this year.
“Customers will be ferried to the special Hyundai vehicle demonstrator area in golf buggies from our main display site, which is in a very prominent spot as you enter the main Fieldays complex,” said the Executive Director of Hyundai Motors NZ, Philip Eustace.
“We also have a special VIP parking area for our most valued customers, and a golf buggie service to transport these customers from their special Hyundai parking area to the event.”
High on the list for many rural operators will be the Hyundai diesels, both SUV and passenger vehicle models. Hyundai leads among mainstream brands offering diesel versions of almost every model in their range.
“Diesel is the
big thing in New Zealand as people assess the economy and
low emissions of today’s hi-tech engines, which are also
very rewarding to drive,” said Mr. Eustace.
Of course many rural people have been switched on to diesel for years; now they are discovering what the latest Euro-tech engines in the Hyundai range are all about, and we see demand for diesel models growing virtually by the month.”
Mr. Eustace says the popular Santa Fe and Tucson SUVs will be features of the Hyundai site, along with car models Grandeur, Sonata, Elantra, Accent, Tiburon and Getz.
“Plus we might just have a special surprise for people this year,” he added. “Watch this space …”
