Deloitte admits five new partners
Deloitte is pleased to announce the admission of five new partners to the New Zealand Firm.
According to CEO Murray Jack the new partner admissions reflected Deloitte’s commitment to client service.
“Our 2007 appointments to partnership are indicative of our decision to continue to develop our peoples’ talent. Our new partners will strengthen the Firm’s capabilities and capacity within a variety of service areas, as each individual brings a significant breadth of experience and expertise to their role,” says Murray Jack.
New partners
- Grant Frear is a consulting partner in the Auckland office with a very strong and up to date understanding of business and technical solutions applicable to Deloitte clients in both the public and private sectors. Grant is not only very experienced in architecting enterprise level solutions and in structuring and managing their delivery but also has extensive experience in advisory based consulting engagements. Prior to joining Deloitte Grant has been responsible for the establishment and management of an Australian office for a niche New Zealand consulting company.
- Vina Hira is a tax partner based in the Hamilton office with over 10 years of tax experience. She has advised a number of multi-nationals and major NZ corporate clients on various consulting and compliance issues including cross border structuring and reorganisations. She is also a member of the Deloitte Global Transaction Services Team and has broad experience advising on tax issues in relation to mergers and acquisitions, divestments, initial public offerings as well as performing due diligence reviews.
- Kate McDonald is a partner in the Auckland Consulting group and leads the human capital practice with a focus on organisation change and human resources transformation. She has extensive business process reengineering experience working with organisations across multiple industries focussing on business process redesign and implementation, supported by change management and communications. As a chartered accountant she also provides advice and support on financial analysis, opportunity identification, business case development and benefit tracking activities.
- Jacqueline Robertson is based in the Wellington Office as a partner in Deloitte’s Risk and Assurance group. Jacqueline joined Deloitte in 2000 and now specialises in statutory audit and financial reporting advice as well as advising many clients with their transition to NZ IFRS. She has considerable experience in providing public sector focused financial advisory, assurance and governance advice and also leads Deloitte’s carbon inventory verification services team.
- Doug Wilson is a Partner in the Hamilton office with over 13 years experience in Deloitte. Doug’s primary expertise is in the areas of capital raising, business structuring, financial advisory and business sales/acquisitions. In addition to his financial acumen, Doug has developed a variety of skills in the areas of Strategic and Business Planning, Succession planning, Process design and improvement, IT selection and implementation and Project management.
