Accor Takes Two Tabua Awards At Bfte

Hotel group Accor took out two awards at the Air Pacific Tabua Marketing Awards held at BFTE in Fiji recently. Air Pacific's Poster, Brochure and Media Awards recognises those in Fiji and around the world who have spent considerable time and effort to create a superior product to promote Fiji or a South Pacific Island.

The Accor group was awarded first place for the CD ROMs and DVDs category, winning with its Accor Race to Survive to Cure Kids DVD, which showcases this iconic event. The Race to Survive is a five day endurance event involving teams of Accor staff from New Zealand, Australia and Fiji taking on extreme physical challenges to raise money for basic medicine and equipment for the children's ward of Fiji's Lautoka Hospital.

Sofitel French Polynesia – part of the Accor Group - also won for Best South Pacific Brochure in the Sales Kits category for 'kits comprising of a folder or packaging and containing several items'. Novotel French Polynesia was also a finalist in this category.
