Hip Christchurch Hotel
Introduces Chic Loft Apartments
Christchurch's most
unique hotel, Hotel Off the Square, is thinking outside the
square with its four funky new loft apartments.
The hotel, one of the Accor Group of hotels, introduced the new apartments to its range of rooms on the 1st of February as the perfect solution for business or leisure guests seeking a chic experience with the convenience of a 'home away from home'. Inspired by the look and feel of a San Francisco or New York apartment, the 'Superior Loft Apartments' retain some of the original brick walls, yet with many new surfaces and top quality fittings. In keeping with the overall style of Hotel Off The Square, each loft is individually decorated with modern furnishings and features local artwork.
Each loft apartment boasts a superking bed which can unzip to singles and excellent amenities such as broadband internet, full quality kitchen, attractive bathroom and laundry. At 50-55 square metres, the apartments are much larger than an average hotel room and some can sleep up to two extra guests.
General Manager Timothy Nicholls says the positive feedback from guests has been overwhelming.
"People say they love the fact that they have all the comforts and conveniences of home but are in a very unique and stylish space."
Situated in a great location beside Cathedral Square, this boutique establishment is part of the major Cathedral Junction development. Surrounded by a variety of eateries and bars and close to many of the city's major attractions, the hotel also offers 18 Studio Chic and 20 Deluxe rooms. Hotel Off The Square brings a touch of Soho/West Village Manhattan down under with its cutting edge vibe, pared down excellence and edgy design. New Zealand's only listed 'HIP' (Highly Individually Placed) accommodation offering, Hotel Off The Square has proved popular with a range of guests from young couples, groups and business travellers to musicians such as The Feelers and Chrissie Hynde.
