Ogilvy Wins Holden Business

Media Alert
For Immediate Release

Ogilvy is delighted to announce it has won the entire media business for GM Holden NZ, including strategic media planning and implementation across all their brands and car lines.

Group Media Director, Nina Bialostocki-Smith led the pitch and will head up the business.

Ogilvy have managed the GM Holden NZ brand business since the acquisition of MTC in May last year. Additionally, Ogilvy went on to pitch and win the entire Holden above-the-line retail account in November last year.

With the lion share of the GM Holden NZ account, Ogilvy is now able to significantly increase its 360 offer with a real opportunity to execute integrated marketing campaigns across all of Holden’s brands and car lines. Says Holden NZ General Marketing Manager, Matthew Woodley:

“We are pleased to award Ogilvy another substantial piece of our business. It has been a year since Ogilvy acquired MTC and we have been happy with the outcome.

“The 360 integrated marketing approach is an excellent fit our business. Like Ogilvy, GM Holden is a globally renowned brand in a highly competitive market.

“Ogilvy is a results focused agency that can assist us to keep our brand aligned with the international market, as well as having a good knowledge of the local automotive market.

“Their creative and media groups have independently impressed us. Ogilvy is the right agency for us.”
