Daily Departures for all 2007
Magic Travellers Network is very proud to announce the introduction of daily departing services on the Magic coach network for all 2007.
Magic’s new winter timetable starting from the 16th April will now mirror the summer timetable, with a coach leaving each of the compulsory overnight stops on the main circuit every day. This industry first (the first backpack network to operate 7 days a week all year round) will allow passengers to travel when and where they want and not be restricted to ‘winter timetables’, which in some cases drop back to only 3 – 4 departures per week.
“There is no doubting that this is a very significant step for backpacking and independent travel in New Zealand,” explained Sales and Marketing Manager Rob Burnell. “Never before have passengers using a backpacking/adventure transport network been able to travel through the country every day, all year round.”
The decision was made to go daily in winter following an overwhelmingly successful 2006/07. “After experiencing an incredibly successful season, the time seemed right to take Magic to the next level and Daily Departures reflects our commitment to service and quality for our passengers perfectly.”
The decision was also based on the customer demand. “Freedom and flexibility are essential to what Magic is all about and after talking to the passengers, there was an irresistible demand to continue with daily departures on the main circuit over the winter months. No matter what the time of year, passengers travelling New Zealand do not want to be stuck somewhere needing to wait 2-3 days to move on”
“Ultimately, whether the passenger or agent makes the booking they can have complete confidence that they are booking a backpacker product where a service schedule will not hold anyone back.”
So watch out for the Magic bus travelling your way every day.
Make every New Zealand day count. Do more with Magic.
