Dine celebrates second birthday

Dine celebrates second birthday with exciting new menu

Dine by Peter Gordon will be celebrating its second birthday in style this month with the launch of an exciting new menu.

Since dine's opening in April 2005, Gordon's restaurant has continued to impress both the New Zealand critics and public alike, voted Metro's 2006 Best New Restaurant and Best Dining Room, and is again a finalist for Metro's 2007 Best New Restaurant.

The New Zealand born international celebrity chef believes this is a hugely exciting time for his venture.

"What a time for dine - a second birthday to celebrate and a whole new menu to excite both customers and chefs", he says.

"I feel incredibly lucky that Auckland has taken dine to its heart and really welcomed it as part of the city's culinary landscape. Celebrating being two years old is just fantastic and I'm really looking forward to seeing how our customers respond to the new menu."

The new menu continues the dine tradition of cooking and serving delicious and innovative food, and includes a number of dishes using local produce such as steamed blue-legged Taupo prawns and roast rolled Hawkes Bay lamb saddle (see menu attached).

dine is on level three of the SKYCITY Grand Hotel and is open Monday to Friday for lunch, and seven nights for dinner. Reservations can be made on 09 363 7030.
