Accor Goes Dancing With The Stars
Viewers of the third season of the dazzling Dancing With The Stars television show, starting tonight on TV ONE, could be waltzing away with some fantastic accommodation prizes thanks to major sponsor Accor Hotels and Resorts.
During each episode, while audience members cheer and vote for their favourite stars, they also have the opportunity to enter the draw for a short break – one for each week. The three-night accommodation prizes are for a different hotel each week, in various locations around New Zealand.
On the eighth and final week, an amazing luxury getaway to Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa is on the cards.
This incredible holiday for two includes return airfares from Auckland to Nadi, seven nights accommodation in the Presidential Suite at the five star Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, a complete pampering treatment at the resort's Mandara Day Spa, and a Jetski Safari with Adrenalin Water Sports. The resort is located on the absolute beachfront of iconic Denarau Island.
Accor is sponsoring Dancing With The Stars by providing hotel accommodation for the dancers, judges and crew at the Novotel Capital Wellington and Hotel Ibis Wellington. The hotel group is also highly involved with Cure Kids, the chosen charity of dancing contestant and former Tall Black Brendan Pongia.
Brendan will be up against seven other contestants, each paired up with a professional dance partner. Money for each charity is raised through the telephone/texting voting system: following recovery of the above operation costs, all remaining money is given to the contestants' nominated charities, without further deductions. TVNZ keeps no part of the money raised. This is identical to the process and procedures adopted for the previous series, which resulted in nearly $1 million being paid to the charities.
Accor is the worldwide leader in hotels, tourism and corporate services, employing 160,000 people in 100 countries. .
