In what is being called the most significant real estate event in Western Australia to date, Roy Weston Real Estate (part of the Harcourts Group) rebranded all their offices throughout the state to Harcourts Western Australia over the weekend (31 March – 1 April).
Harcourts International Ltd Managing Director, Mike Green, said this was a strategic move to further increase the national strength and profile of the Harcourts brand. “Roy Weston Real Estate is a highly respected name in Western Australia, having operated successfully in that market for 50 years. Harcourts purchased the group in February 2004 as its first entry into Western Australia, with Roy Weston continuing to be a market leader and one of the preferred real estate brands in this state. This rebrand takes the next significant step in providing our WA team with access to our global marketing, systems and technology enabling them to deliver even higher levels of client service.”
CEO of Roy Weston, and now of Harcourts Western Australia, Shane Kempton, said that despite being Western Australia’s leading real estate brand, it was important to maintain a keen eye on the future to maintain industry leadership. “When I became CEO, our objective was the ensure the group was the best trained, skilled, supported, happiest and healthiest in the industry, and thus ensuring our clients receive the very best service levels. Rebranding to Harcourts gives our group worldwide presence and recognition. With the increasingly sophisticated expectations of today’s clients this means we can provide them with an even more comprehensive range of services.”
Harcourts is New Zealand’s largest real estate group and Australia’s fastest growing. Founded in New Zealand in 1888, the operation expanded into Australia in 1997. Harcourts now has close to 430 offices in New Zealand, every State in Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Fiji.
“No other real estate group in Australasia has
been as dynamic as Harcourts. While we have worked hard as
a brand to build our reputation for customer service
excellence, we’re also the clear industry leader in
technology, training and systems. With over $17.5 billion
in sales internationally last year, we have a formidable
base to continue to build on,” said Mr Green.
