Super discounts, prizes and more at Dick Smith Electronics PowerHouse store grand opening – this weekend
The new Dick Smith Electronics PowerHouse store at Sylvia Park will begin two days of celebration for its grand opening from 9.00am this Saturday, 31 March.
The store is expecting large crowds – similar to those who queued overnight outside the Manukau store last year – to snap up many crazily discounted items including LCD TVs under $1000, laptop computers, mobile phones, cameras and home theatre systems.
Among the specials is a free ‘Motorstorm’ game and ‘Casino Royale’ Blu-Ray movie to the first 20 customers who purchase the new Playstation 3 console plus many half priced accessories.
The opening event will feature entertainment from celebrity guests Tony Veitch and Stacey Daniels, who will be giving away spot prizes. Shoppers can also enter into major prize draws.
With a trading floor space of over 2000 square metres, the massive store will be the third Dick Smith Electronics PowerHouse to be opened so far in New Zealand.
