Postal arrangements over Easter and Anzac Day

New Zealand Post advises the following service and delivery arrangements will apply over Easter weekend.

Mail will not be processed on Good Friday, giving New Zealand Post the opportunity to give delivery staff a day off on Saturday 7 April to spend with friends and family at Easter. This has been standard practice at Easter since 2003.

Normal mail delivery services will resume on Tuesday 10 April.

Service and delivery arrangements

Good Friday 6 April

All PostShops will be closed. There will be no Postie, CourierPost or Rural Post delivery services. There will be no delivery to Mail Service Centre Boxes or to Private Boxes at PostShops.

Saturday 7 April

All PostShops normally open will be open. There will be no Postie or Rural Post delivery services. There will be no mail delivery to Mail Service Centre Boxes or Private Boxes at PostShops. CourierPost will operate as normal.

Easter Monday 9 April

All PostShops will be closed. There will be no Postie, CourierPost or Rural Post delivery services. There will be no delivery to Mail Service Centre Boxes or to Private Boxes at PostShops.

Tuesday 10 April

Normal operating hours and services will resume.

Anzac Day Wednesday 25 April

All PostShops will be closed. There will be no Postie, CourierPost or Rural Post delivery services. There will be no delivery to Mail Service Centre Boxes or to Private Boxes at PostShops.
