Norsewear And Swazi Shop Opens In Wellington On Monday
Norsewear Chief Executive Robert Linterman says that the opening of a new joint venture Norsewear and Swazi store in central Wellington tomorrow is an example of the country coming to the town.
"The new store at 101 Lambton Quay is the third joint venture between Norsewear and Swazi. We are making a deliberate effort to make our New Zealand Made clothing more available in urban markets. It does not get much more urban than Lambton Quay," says Mr Linterman.
"The plan is to get city people to try on our quality casual clothes and leisure wear. As soon as they do, they fall in love with the products. The new shop is in a great location and the fit out is amazing. The decor really captures the feel and attitude of Norsewear and Swazi, two companies which have made the decision to remain 'true to country' and stay 100% New Zealand Made," he says.
"The store at 101 Lambton Quay opens for business on 19 March. As well as our valued customers, the media are welcome to visit our new store. We are very proud of it," says Mr Linterman.
