Next Begins New Search For Editor

ACP Magazines today announced the resignation of Susannah Walker, the editor since 2004 of its flagship New Zealand women’s title, Next. She will step down as editor in June in order to return to live in Australia.

“We are sorry to be losing Susannah from both Next and ACP but understand the reasons behind her decision,” says Kirsty Cameron, Editorial Director - Women’s Lifestyle Titles. “She has done an outstanding job leading Next for the past three years, achieving records in circulation and readership, and winning critical and peer plaudits along the way.

“She leaves behind a highly talented editorial team and a network of some of the country’s best contributors and columnists. It’s always good to leave on a high note and Susannah is certainly doing that. ”

ACP is expecting strong interest in this role, one of the most dynamic in NZ magazine publishing, and will call for candidates both in NZ and overseas.
