Big Wednesday Jackpots Holiday Home Added To Next Week's Prize Pool

Big Wednesday has jackpotted tonight, with a $500,000 holiday home added to the prizes on offer next week, NZ Lotteries Chief Executive, Todd McLeay said.

"Five weeks ago Big Wednesday launched exciting new prizes including an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, an Audi Q7, a Platinum AMEX card with $250,000 loaded, $250,000 of luxury travel and a Rayglass Legend 2500 boat," said Mr McLeay.

"With the top prize not won this week the Big Wednesday prize pool has jackpotted to include a holiday home, worth $500,000.

"Owning a classic Kiwi bach is every holiday makers ideal, and what better time of year to start owning one," said Mr McLeay.

At the next draw, on 17 January 2006, Big Wednesday players will be in to win:
- $2 million;
- Aston Martin V8 Vantage;
- Audi Q7;
- $250,000 American Express Platinum card;
- $250,000 in First Class Travel;
- Rayglass Legend 2500; and
- $500,000 Bach.

While the top prize was not struck in tonight's draw, a lucky player who purchased their ticket at Clutterbucks Price Cutters in Mataura, Southland, won $25,000 in Big Wednesday's second chance draw.

The winning serial number is 495-16524038-13XX.

"Anyone who bought their Big Wednesday ticket from Clutterbucks Price Cutters in Mataura should write their name on the back of the ticket and check it immediately," Mr McLeay says.

There were a total of 68,533 winners from tonight's draw.
