Eleven Top Prizes Still to be Claimed in Lotto's Christmas Holiday Promotion

Eleven prizes, including a $500,000 bach, remain unclaimed in Lotto's Christmas Holiday promotion which was drawn on Saturday 30th of December 2006, says NZ Lotteries' Chief Executive Todd McLeay.

"Seventeen very happy Lotto Triple Dip players have already been in and claimed their special promotion prizes, however a further 11 are still waiting to be claimed," said Mr McLeay.

"Our top prize of a $1 million house has been claimed, by a Levin family who were left absolutely speechless when they found out they had won. Equally stunned was a Tauranga man who last week found out he had won a $500,000 bach, when he checked his Triple Dip voucher while out buying himself a paper.

"A second $500,000 holiday home sold by Pio Pio Superette in Te Kuiti is still to be claimed," said Mr McLeay.

"Since it is the holiday season, we realise that people are not in their usual routines, so many Kiwis have not checked their Lotto Triple Dip vouchers yet. But I advise anyone who purchased a Triple Dip at any of the retailers below, to write their name on the back of the ticket and go into any NZ Lotteries retailer, whether in their home town or while on holiday, and get their vouchers checked," he said.

The prizes were won on vouchers which were produced when customers purchased a Triple Dip during the promotion period between 10 and 30 December. Vouchers can be checked for prizes through the terminal at any Lotto outlet just like regular Lotto tickets.
