Calling all year 13 students: great jobs at SJS
Student Job Search (SJS) National Chairperson, Conor Roberts is calling on all Year 13’s who have finished there exams to check out our great jobs online at www.sjs.co.nz
“All Year 13 students who have enrolled in a tertiary institution for next year, or are intending to go to tertiary studies in 07, can access the Student Job Search service” said Mr Roberts.
Mr Roberts, said he believed, “many new students think they can’t access the SJS service until they start their academic studies next year. We are concerned many students could be missing out on all the great jobs and good hourly rates at Student Job Search”.
Student Job Search, the tertiary employment service, provides employment services to all tertiary students from both Polytechnics and Universities and is the third income support measure for tertiary students, after student loans, and allowances.
“Our mission is to get great jobs for all students, we look forward to helping all those students who are just about to enter tertiary education.”
“Currently we have $22 million worth of jobs listed online and ready to be filled by students. There has never been a better time for new and returning students to get a job through Student Job Search,” Mr Roberts concluded.
Student Job Search is a non-profit organisation run by Student Associations and provides a free service to both students and employers.
