Telecommunications company ihug is to offer free calls to Fiji from December 15 until January 15.
“With the coup going on and Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, it’s a tough time for people with friends and family in Fiji”, says ihug CEO Mark Rushworth.

From December 15, ihug home phone customers will automatically be able to call Fiji for up to two hours free of charge. Calls to Fiji are normally charged at 59c per minute.
Anyone not already an ihug customer who would like to take advantage of this offer simply needs to switch their home phone to ihug. Switching your home phone to ihug is easy, free and takes only about four days.
