"Evil Diet Witch” to join Baby Food Company

Media release

1st December 2006

“Evil Diet Witch” to join innovative Baby Food Company.

Nikki Hart - Respected and well known dietician (also known as “The Evil Diet Witch”) has joined forces with The Green Monkey Frozen Organic Baby Food Company to promote healthy eating lifestyles for children in New Zealand from ‘Day One’. Nikki is one of New Zealand’s most popular nutritional professionals. She is a medically registered dietitian with a Masters Degree in Nutritional Science, and has operated her busy clinic since 1995.

Nikki’s dynamic and inspiring health promotion presentations make her a highly sought after speaker at events and conferences around New Zealand.
She highlights the importance of nutrition regularly in the media. She has presented two highly acclaimed anti-obesity TV shows - ‘Eat Yourself Whole’ and ‘The Fat Chance’, and has also appeared in the annual ‘Test the Nation’ quiz as the nutritional expert for Heart Health. Nikki is a regular print nutrition columnist for New Idea, Healthy Food Guide, Essentially Food, and Littlies Parenting Magazine.

Charlotte Rebbeck and Lizzie Dyer (Directors of the Green Monkey Frozen Organic Baby Food Company) are excited by the prospect of having someone of the caliber of Nikki Hart joining the team. They believe Nikki will help them immensely in spreading the word about healthy eating from a very early age, and will educate New Zealand babies and children about mass produced, over processed food. Currently with a third of New Zealand Children rated as obese or overweight, it is critical that parents are educated right from the start, and the two Directors believe that Nikki is the “perfect spokesperson”.

Nikki will have her own pages on the Green Monkey web site with informative eating advice and printable food guides.
